We have been hacking all weekend long to implement and enhance several parts of intensitymaps.com. We are excited about the rapid development and positive feedback!

First of all, we created a few demo videos (which you can find on the front page), briefly showing how to:

• create a new map
• embed a map on a website
• embed a map on a blog on blogspot
• import data from a spreadsheet

We hope this might get people started even quicker with intensitymaps.com (although it's already super-easy, right?) :-)

New features include the option to set a title for the map, which will be displayed as the html-pagetitle. Also the public and private option now easily let's you choose which presentations to share with the world, and which to keep private.

Another new element helps anonymous users keep track of the maps they have been viewing (they are now listed in the "Manage Maps" page under "Recently Viewed").

If not logged in, the map receives a new filename every time it is saved. To be able to overwrite an existing map, users need to log in either via openid, or a local login.
